Grow from Strength to Strength

China embarks on a new journey to pursue high-quality development and to build a modern socialist country in all respects. In the meantime, Hainan is making all the efforts to achieve the goal of island-wide independent customs operation and the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port is proceeding with vigor. Nowadays, China is more closely connected to the world, and Hainan will become shining "brand name" of China one day in the new era of reform and opening up. The coming spring brings us hope and expectation. We are in our prime and we should try our best to grow from strength to strength.

In the new year, we will keep going toward the desired future from a new stage. To make it Hainan-based and deeply root in the Free Trade Port, HNFL will stay committed to develop vocational foreign languages service, strive to be the benchmark in the industry, and improve itself to achieve the visions of enjoying languages, connecting with the world and creating a shared future.

In 2023, HNFL will follow the footsteps of national development and strengthen training, publishing and translating development at the same time, continue to provide language services for key industries and units in Hainan Province, actively participate in the construction of internationalized language environment for Hainan, and offer language and cultural support for the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port. We will continue to conduct foreign languages training in key areas, such as foreign police affairs, airport, and public windows providing foreign service. In the meantime, related researches will be conducted meticulously based on the real work scenarios of each unit, and we will write the practical English teaching materials for the relevant departments according to the research results. The assessment methods and scoring standards will be made based on CSE. The integration of "teaching, learning, applying and examining" will be accomplished through the HNFL App. Moreover, we will further improve the foreign language talents pool so as to better provide multilingual translation services for key industries and units.

Since its founding a century ago, the Communist Party of China has taken a remarkable journey. In the near future, HNFL will definitely grow just like a bird from a fledgling to an eagle and fly high. In the new year, we will stay confident and build strength, uphold fundamental principles and break new ground, forge ahead with enterprise and fortitude.
