A Foreign Language Training Course for Traffic Management Police Officers in Hainan Province was Successfully Held

In order to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, accelerate the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, and let Chinese-style modernization take the lead in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, the Public Security Department of Hainan Province has comprehensively carried out capacity improvement activities and built a foreign language training system and assessment method adapted to the requirements of Free Trade Port closure operation. The Public Security Department of Hainan Province held a five-day foreign language training course for traffic management police officers in Hainan Province from October 24 to 28, 2022 in order to cultivate foreign language application talents of major foreign-related window police departments and conduct precise sinking training. This training course adopts centralized closed management, and strictly implements the requirements of pandemic prevention and control while ensuring the training effect. Through the application of the training system and examination methods, the higher training level and good learning effect are reflected.

Chen Heliang, the first-level director of the Education and Training Department of the Political Department of Hainan Public Security Bureau, presided over the opening ceremony and put forward three requirements for the students:

1. Recognizing the importance of this training. The first training course, held just after the successful conclusion of the 20th National Congress and in the context of the heavy tasks of various tasks, demonstrated the importance of foreign language learning to improve the ability of public security police to communicate with foreign countries, manage and provide services.

2. Under strict compliance with the requirements of pandemic prevention and control, it is also important to complete learning tasks with high quality.

3. Strictly abiding by the training discipline. Do not be late or leave early, and strictly abide by the six iron rules and prohibitions.

In this training class, HNFL invited Professor Xie Bangxiu from the Department of International Police Affairs of the Hubei University of Police to give a lecture. At the opening ceremony, Professor Xie presented the book she published to HNFL, and expressed her importance to the training task, saying that she would do her best to complete the teaching task with high quality. Professor Xie not only set up the basic knowledge and professional knowledge, but also carried out the group practical practice based on the knowledge learned every day. In terms of teaching testing, Professor Xie applied HNFL app testing system to conduct a touchdown test before training and a learning effect assessment after training.

The training course was hosted by the Education and Training Department of the Political Department of the Hainan Public Security Department and hosted by HNFL. The HNFL team provided excellent educational services and teaching management for the whole course.
